SWISS wet lease flights

Even during periods of increased travel demand, we aim to offer you the best possible flight connections. To achieve this, SWISS works with carefully selected partner airlines on certain routes when required. These so-called wet lease partners operate flights on behalf of SWISS, allowing us to respond flexibly to changes in demand. This helps us ensure reliable flight operations.

Everything you need to know about flights operated by a wet lease partner

Wet lease means that a partner airline uses its own aircraft and crew to operate a flight on behalf of another airline – in this case, on behalf of SWISS. The airline operates the flight for us and meets our quality and safety standards. For you, the key aspects remain unchanged: your booking is still a SWISS booking, and your rights remain the same. On board, you can expect reliable service as well as the renowned SWISS culinary offerings.

You can find out more details about what may change and what will remain the same on our wet lease partner websites. If any changes occur after you have made your booking, we will inform you as soon as possible. You can also check whether your flight is operated by a wet lease partner in the SWISS app or on our website under ‘My booking’ > ‘View flight status’.
